I utilize a wholstic approach to understand how we can achieve optimum health for multiple interdependent systems.  Most of my work centers around Nature in some way, as it is the most complex, interdependant and sustainable system we know. This approach applies to both individual (person) and ecological (environment) realms, as well as the important set of cause-and-effect interactions between them (in both directions). 

I feel lucky to work in areas as diverse as environmental psychology, public health promotion, ancient Chinese spirituality, and contemporary urban sustainable development.
